Description

Tender salmon cubes coated in smoky spices and tossed in a creamy, sweet, and spicy Bang Bang sauce for a quick, flavor-packed dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pound boneless skinless salmon fillets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, optional
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha, adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
  • Steamed white rice or cauliflower rice
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Lime wedges

Instructions

1. Cut the salmon fillets into 1-inch bite-sized cubes and place them in a large bowl.

2. Drizzle the salmon with olive oil and sprinkle with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using). Toss gently to coat.

3. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice to make the Bang Bang sauce.

4. Add half of the prepared sauce to the salmon and toss again to lightly coat each piece.

5. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F. Spray the basket with nonstick cooking spray, arrange the salmon in a single layer, and air fry for 7 to 8 minutes until cooked through.

6. Alternatively, preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the salmon on the sheet and bake for 12 to 15 minutes, then broil for an additional 2 to 3 minutes.

7. Serve the cooked salmon over steamed rice or cauliflower rice, drizzled with reserved Bang Bang sauce, and garnish with sliced green onions, sesame seeds, and lime wedges.

Notes

For a healthier option, substitute mayonnaise with Greek yogurt.

Adjust sriracha to taste for your preferred spice level.

Do not overcrowd the air fryer or baking sheet to ensure even cooking.
