Description
Juicy and flavorful chicken burgers packed with cheddar cheese and zesty ranch seasoning, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning mix
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 large egg
- Olive oil, for cooking
- Burger buns, for serving
- Your favorite toppings (lettuce, tomato, red onion, etc.)
Instructions
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and egg. Mix gently until just combined.
2. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape into patties. If sticky, lightly dampen your hands. Chill patties for 10–15 minutes if time allows.
3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat or prepare a grill. Cook patties for 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
4. Lightly toast burger buns. Assemble burgers with patties and desired toppings. Serve immediately.
Notes
Do not overmix the chicken mixture to keep burgers tender and juicy.
Chilling the patties helps them hold their shape while cooking.
You can freeze uncooked patties between parchment paper for later use; thaw in the refrigerator before cooking.
Add extra ranch dressing or your favorite sauce for additional flavor.
