Description

Sweet, spicy, and creamy hot honey feta chicken with a golden sear and tangy yogurt-feta sauce—perfect for a bold and satisfying dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • For the Chicken:
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • For the Hot Honey Sauce:
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • For the Feta Sauce:
  • 4 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • For Garnishing:
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and pat chicken dry. Season both sides with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.

2. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for about 3 minutes per side until golden.

3. In a saucepan over low heat, combine honey, red pepper flakes, apple cider vinegar, and butter. Stir until melted and smooth, then simmer briefly.

4. In a bowl, mix feta, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, oregano, and olive oil until creamy. Add a little water or milk if needed.

5. Pour half the hot honey sauce over the chicken and transfer skillet to the oven. Bake for 15–18 minutes until cooked through.

6. Remove chicken and spoon feta sauce over each piece while hot.

7. Drizzle remaining hot honey sauce over the top.

8. Garnish with parsley, extra chili flakes if desired, and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Adjust spice level by increasing or reducing red pepper flakes.

Chicken thighs can be used for a juicier result.

Serve with rice, roasted vegetables, or crusty bread to soak up the sauce.

Let chicken rest for a few minutes before serving for best texture.
